This is among the more likely claims. A smattering of small studies show that vinegar really reduces post-meal blood sugar and insulin levels. The trouble with all these studies is they are quite little, just 8 to 12 players per study. As far as scientific evidence goes, this is quite poor and you ca’t make strong decisions based on little studies that are such.
Also, insulin and this blood sugar is certainly not restricted to apple cider vinegar. It applies to every kind of vinegar. Consequently, carbs enter the bloodstream and this reduces blood sugar and insulin spikes.
Bottom line: Vinegar may have slightly favorable effect on insulin levels and blood sugar, but the effect is pretty modest and applies to all types of vinegar.

Applied some diseases can be treated by it, but it looks anything but a wonder treatment:

Apple cider vinegar is promised to be a rich source of various minerals and vitamins, particularly potassium. Nutritional evaluation reveals it includes virtually no nutrients. It’s promised to be a great source of potassium, yet 1 tbsp of ACV gives you just 11mg, a paltry 0.2% of the recommended daily consumption.
Maybe apple cider vinegar has nutrients or other enzymes, but the normal nutritional evaluation reveals it’s a lousy source of just about anything.
Nutritional evaluation of apple cider vinegar
I’m not clear as I could’t locate any supporting scientific data on where this claim originated. Having said that, when compared with the acids in your belly, vinegar is a pretty weak acid. So I’m not certain how much it’d help.
Vinegar is a product of fermentation. It’s asserted that the mom that is ‘ ’ you see in vinegars that are unfiltered includes probiotic bacteria. The Vinegar Institute says that ‘mom of vinegar’ is cellulose created by acetobacteria. In addition, it includes acetobacteria, but these are distinct bacteria than what resides in your intestine and it’s not likely they’ve any probiotic effect.
This is most likely accurate, but so are the apples the vinegar is constructed of. Than you’ll get from ACV eating one apple gives you much more prebiotics.
The proponents also make claims that are wholly fictional.

Alkalizes removes excessive acids and your body
Many people maintain that unhealthy diet and lifestyle causes acidosis – accumulation of acids in the body. These acids support bacterial growth and reduce the pH of your blood. In addition they assert that ACV makes it more alkaline and reduces acid develop in the body. It does this, is never described.
The entire acid-alkaline theory of disorder is simply incorrect. So wrong the American Institute for Cancer Research says it’s “in marked comparison to everything we understand about the chemistry of the human body”.
While proponents of this myth claim that the body’s pH amount cans alter, these claims stand in marked comparison to everything we understand about the chemistry of the human body. Even small changes to your body’s pH are life threatening events.
Outline is used by internal
What it comes down to is that there’s no great evidence to demonstrate that drinking apple cider vinegar has any actual health benefits. All vinegars may be helpful in keeping insulin levels and blood sugar, but even there the evidence is inadequate. I’d additionally propose using balsamic vinegar. Whereas balsamic vinegar joined with olive oil makes for a fine salad aCV isn’t especially appetizing.
Rather than drinking it many people like to use apple cider vinegar as toner. They assert that wiping your face with diluted ACV is virtually promised to remove acne.
In contrast to drinking, I can see the justification for using ACV. As an acid it does have effects that are keratolytic. It keeps skin pores open and breaks the bonds between dead skin cells. While it hasn’t been examined in people, it’s not impossible that external ACV can control acne-causing bacteria on the skin.
That said it would’t be my treatment of choice – far from it. I would’t place it on my face for that reason and personally loathe the scent. Others may be more tolerant.
Another reason is that it’s a pretty strong acid, and it’s simple to cause skin damage if you’re’t cautious.
ACV is a pretty strong acid and using it’s not without dangers, as I mentioned several times.
Substance burn from external application of apple cider vinegar
When I searched for apple cider vinegar in the medical literature, the first thing I discovered were case reports of folks getting substance burn injuries following external application of ACV.
A 25-days old baby grown burn injuries when his grandma used ACV on his torso in an attempt to bring temperature down.
8-year old boy after his mum used cotton balls soaked in apple cider vinegar in an attempt to treat a viral infection grown burn injuries on his leg.
A 59-year old girl turned her ankle while trekking. Her feet got serious burn injuries (see the graphic below).
And here’s the grisly damage the 59-year old girl inflicted on herself.
I need to say that in all these instances the acid was in contact with the skin for quite some time, between 2 and 8 hours. It’s exceptionally improbable that any injury is caused by a brief contact of 5 to 20 seconds.
Please do’t do what videos and some posts indicate – leave the vinegar on your own skin.
Harm from apple cider vinegar nutritional supplements
The physicians subsequently examined various ACV capsules and found the pH-values ranged from 2.9 to 5.7. The truth is, most pills were mainly merely citric acid and had simply small touch of ACV.
This is one motive I’m not a huge fan of nutritional supplements. Due to lax regulations you as a consumer don’t have any means to understand what’s in the pills.

Apple cider vinegar is food – not medication. There’s no great evidence to support the amazing health claims that are close. All vinegars may be helpful in keeping insulin levels and blood sugar, but this effect isn’t certain to apple cider vinegar. Digestion might enhance, but there’s no signs to say either way.
Used it may help keep the skin pores open and control acne-causing bacteria. Yet here possible hazard of chemical burns and the odor makes it a poor alternative.
It’s consistently possible that apple cider vinegar works through some mechanism that is unknown, but based on evidence that is presently available, I wouldn’t put it on my skin
